Pamięć podręczna zapisu została usunięta z QuTS hero ze względu na nowy system plików ZFS. W nowym systemie plików pamięć podręczna zapisu nie zapewnia znaczącej poprawy wydajności, ponieważ system plików ZFS zawsze zapisuje dane w pustych blokach (nie nadpisuje oryginalnych bloków), a następnie zwalnia wcześniej używane bloki.
