SMB i AFP nie zezwalają na ukośnik "/" w nazwach plików. SAMBA zastępuje "/" znakiem "☐". Plik "a/b" przesłany przez SMB będzie wyświetlany jako "a☐b" w File Station. Netatalk zastępuje "/" znakiem ":". Plik "c/d" przesłany przez AFP będzie wyświetlany jako "c:d" w File Station.
