Podczas tworzenia woluminu na serwerze QNAP NAS maksymalny rozmiar woluminu oraz maksymalna liczba plików lub folderów zależą od ustawienia **bajtów na i-węzeł**. Ustawienie to określa, ile i-węzłów (obiektów systemu plików) jest dostępnych dla woluminu.

- Dla woluminów o pojemności **32 TB lub mniejszej** domyślna wartość bajtów na i-węzeł wynosi **32 KB**, co pozwala obsłużyć:

- Maksymalny rozmiar woluminu: **127,99 TB**
- Maksymalna liczba plików/folderów: **1 000 000 (1 mln)**

Dla woluminów o pojemności **większej niż 32 TB** domyślna wartość bajtów na i-węzeł wynosi **64 KB**, co pozwala obsłużyć:

- Maksymalny rozmiar woluminu: **250 TB**
