1. Applying the Qfix will impact connectivity between the NAS and legacy browsers which only support SSL protocol, for example, IE 6.0. A browser with the following versions or later is required to connect to the NAS by HTTPS (TLS): Firefox 1, Chrome 1, IE 7, Opera 5 and Safari 1. Make sure that your browser meets the minimum version requirement.
2. Qfix installation will require restarting your system, do not do it when you require services from your Turbo NAS.
1. Download “Qfix for HTTPS security vulnerability (POODLE)” from the QNAP website ().
2. Login to your Turbo NAS as the admin, go to “Control Panel”> “Firmware Update” and choose the “Firmware Update” tab. You will have to restart the system after it is finished for the Qfix to take effect.
