macOS Big Sur (version 11) is the seventeenth major release of macOS, Apple Inc.'s operating system for Macintosh computers. It was announced at Apple's Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) on June 22, 2020, and was released to the public on November 12, 2020.

Big Sur is the successor to macOS Catalina.

Most notably, macOS Big Sur features a user interface redesign that features new blurs to establish a visual hierarchy and also includes a revamp of the Time Machine backup mechanism, among other changes.

Install note
  1. During installation start Disk Utility first
  2. Select empty QEMU HARDDISK 128GB
  3. Click Erase button
  4. Create new file system:
    • Name: macOS System Disk
    • Format: Mac OS Extended (Journaled)
    • Scheme: GUID Partition Map
      (and click Erase button)
  5. Once done, close Disk Utility
  6. During installation you have to be connected to Internet. You can open Safari and test internet connection

FAQ
Why I dont have internet connection?

In QTS open Network and Virtual Switch and create any virtual switch and bridge it with your LAN or WAN connection.
Mac instance connectes automatically to all available virtual switches in network.

How to adjust performance?
Edit /etc/init.d/macOSBigSur.sh file and adjust RAM and CPU settings.

CPU_CORES="1"
CPU_THREADS="2"
DISK_SIZE="128G"

NOTE: Eg. For TS-877 with 6 cores CPU and 12 HT set maximum 75% of it's power, which is:

CPU_THREADS="8"

How to increase disk size?
To increase disk size, firs you have to remove it.
Bash:
rm -f /usr/bin/macOSBigSur/mac_hdd_ng.img
This will erase your installation.
