Pomoc Can I set how many concurrent downloads rTorrent should download?

Is there a way to configure rTorrent so it does not try to download more than 5 torrents at a time?
When I dumb 50 - 100 torrents that I have gotten into the Watch folder it starts all at some time
and mostly they just hang and never get successfully download.
I think that is annoying to have to feed the watch folder only a few torrents at a time, takes up a lot of time

This feature is not implemented.

What is the speed of your ISP connection?
And what type of trackers do you use - public or private?
How many seeders there are.

1250 Mbps down, and 600 Mbps up.
Fiber.

Juniper router, total overkill for my system but I got it cheap.

Private

How many seeders there are.

Usually between 10 - 200.

We managed successfuly to start 3k downloads from watch directory.

I can start them, they do start but they hang and never finish.

Never had issues with Bt running directly on a desktop or in the cloud

I had not checked this before and never really thought about it
it says:

rTorrent 0.8.1 > 0.9.2 Click to download rTorrent approved

The seedbox I used to run also uses rTorrent and it ran very well.
I have disabled DHT based on rules of the tracker.

It does say

Is rTorrent Plus a modified torrent clients?

AFAIK There are already iptorrents users using rtorrent-Pro.

Rtorrent version is 0.9.4 and yes there are modification however related only for DHT and PEX.

If you use private trackers then you shouldnt be worry.

Make sure you have disabled IP filtering.
