  • If you changed your mysql root password, change the password in /etc/zarafa/server.cfg
  • Enable Zarafa in the QPKG Plugin Section
You have to connect to the QNAP NAS with a SSH client to create users.

Bash:
/var/log/zarafa

You can start/stop Zarafa using this command
Bash:
/etc/init.d/Zarafa.sh start
or
/etc/init.d/Zarafa.sh stop
or
/etc/init.d/Zarafa.sh restart

You can find additional information in the official Zarafa Documentation.

Please provide feedback to improve the Package :)

Postfix / fetchmail Information
  • This is the first QPKG with postfix integration (therefore it is in a early stage)
  • remove postfix/fetchmail if installed via optware with "ipkg remove postfix fetchmail"
  • A user postfix and group postdrop are created during installation. Please change the password of the postfix user!
  • /etc/postfix/main.cf sendmail_path has to be changed to /usr/sbin/sendmail-postfix
  • To enable postfix and fetchmail edit the file /etc/init.d/Zarafa.sh and change POSTFIX_ENABLED="FALSE" or FETCHMAIL_ENABLED="FALSE" to TRUE
  • It is planned to provide postfix.admin webinterface and also a webinterface to enable / disable the services
  • All configuration files are located in /etc/postfix or /etc/fetchmail
  • See the wiki for all information
Known Issues:
  • You have to adjust the root password of the mysql database if you changed it. (/etc/zarafa/server.cfg)
  • [ARM-x19] missing licensed due to availability
  • [ARM-x19] zarafa-ical ignores command line options, "only" starts up
  • after the first install (optware and zarafa) without reboot, it is possible that you get errors like (cannot found lib...) - Simply reboot qnap
  • postfix warning messages at startup
  • Startup scripts need some cleanup
Ideas/Plans:
  • Easy Webinterface to create/delete users

Thanks to Zarafa and MB for the support!

Witam serdecznie,
bardzo sie ciesze ze udalo sie opublikowac opkg dla ARMowej wersjii NAS. Zaraz sobie zainstalowalem i stworzylem uzytkownika. Teraz chcialbym sobie dobrze skonfigurowac Zarafe nan NASie i outlooka na PCcie. Na http://wiki.qnap.com/wiki/Zarafa_Configuration mozna przeczytac o roznych opcjach konfiguracji:
  • Postfix with smarthost and fetchmail for receiving mails from POP3/IMAP mailboxes
  • Postfix with your own domain (without user database)
  • Postfix with your own domain (virtual user database)
  • Postfix with your own domain (mysql zarafa user database)

Ktora z opcji nadaje sie dla uzytku prywatnego, domowego (4-5 kont e-mailowych)?
Mam wlasna domene. Jak moge skonfigurowac serwer mailowy z nadaniem kont i konfiguracja w Outlooku.
Krotko co bym chcial osiagnac:
  • konta mailowe z wlasna domena
  • Outlook uwzgledniajacy te konta
  • Active sync dla tych kont (smart phones)
  • Synchronizacja kalendarza i ksiazki adresowej w outlooku

Jesli komus juz sie to udalo na TS219PII i ma doswiadczenie to prosze o pomocne informacje.

Pozdrawiam,
Jacek
