Hi,
Are you going to add support for armv7l platform in the new versions which were already released ?
I have TS-231P model and the latest version which I can use is 0.9.6.0417
There are 5 newer versions and all of them doesn't support armv7l.
I need this because my version (0.9.6.0417) isn't the most stable and crash from time to time also as I understand it's not supported with the new qts version 4.4.1.1064.

Please advice.

Thanks,

Firmware version: 4.3.6.1050 build 20190830
Model name: QNAP TS231-P
any response ?

Hi
Use version 0.9.6-0417 released on (17-04-2019) for platform TS-X41
I got a TS-231-P2 and this software working perfectly
Regards

Thanks for your replay Piotr ,however as explained above I am already using version 0.9.6-0417 and it doesn't support qts 4.4.1 to which I want to upgrade.

I can see that Silas is available now, do you know when a version that support qts 4.4.1.1064 for armv7l platform will be released ?

Thanks,

Hi
I got firmware: 4.4.1.1064 Build 20190918 and have got instaled version "rtorrent_0.9.6-0417-190417_arm-x41.qpkg"
All working properly and I do not have any problems with this application
Regards

This is interesting, because according to the release notes there is support for qts 4.4.1 only from version 0.9.7-0720 (for x86 cpu's only):

I am using QNAP TS-231P, firmware: 4.4.1.1081.
I have just purchased rtorrent pro this morning, but when I followed the instruction of adding Qnap Club Store to my App Center, it doesn't show as the instruction.
All I have received is: "NAS could not retrieve App information list. Please check your network settings".
So I do not know how to install rtorrent in my NAS. Please help.
Thank you

Hi

First of all you have added public repo. If you already purchased rtorrent-Pro then you should add private repo which is found under your account menu on qnapclub.eu and the API Key.

The second thing is that if you don't have connection to repo then there must be something wrong in your NAS config. Are you sure your NAS have connection to the Internet? Are DNS settings correct?
Try use Google DNS 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4

Thanks Silas,

I am now managed to download and install rtorrent Pro on my TS-231P.
I have done this part: "Go to SETTINGS and then click on the Credentials button on the bottom of the page and set new login name and password." too.
However, when I tried to go to FloodUI, I got this message: "
This site can’t be reached
10.0.0.35 refused to connect.

What can I do now?

Sorry to jump-in, however you reply is not relevant. We paid for pro and lack of latest version arm build is not what one would expect from paid software.

I agree

Unfortunatelly not. I stuck with my son in hospital for weeks.
And now Im sick and dont see on left eye.
So no development now. Sorry.

FYI about updated of rtorrent-Pro:
- Fast Ring (gets stable, RC, and beta updates) Intel based NAS
- Slow Ring (gets stable, RC updates) ARM based NAS
