Help Unable to select Wireguard profile in "Bind IP interface" parameter

Hi @Silas Mariusz,

I just setup a Wireguard client profile in QVPN, just the same I did before with an OpenVPN one.
But it seems this profile is not listed in "Bind IP interface" parameter on rtorrent setup page.
I wondered if it was due to the fact that this kind of profile was not named the same way as OpenVPN ones :
OpenVPN : tun*
Wireguard : wgc*

Do you think it would be possible to also list/select Wireguard profiles if any ?

Hi

Don’t know which version of Rtorrent you have, but as I remember wireguard was supported. However there are no future plans to provide support for VPN in rtorrent. Looks like most users use Rtorrent for private trackers and VPN support is not popular.

Thanks for you quick reply.
I am currently using version 0.15.7-777.
But I just discovered that even if the WireGuard IP interface is up, it seems that I have only TX errors and the peer connection doesn’t show up.
So maybe it is the reason I don’t see it in Rtorrent parameters.

Open vpn 'tun' interfaces are supported by rtorrent. . I have been using private trackers with open vpn and rtorrent for years.

Unfortunately the vpn provider I use only supports wire guard via their official apps.
