Hi,
There is default folder as /share/Media. Inside I have more detailed split like: Movies. Cartoon, Series.
Is it possible to pick appropriate folder per each file I drag&drop to rTorrent?
If so, how can I do this?

why do you need to pick each time new folder for each torrent?

torrenting on NAS or any other server IS&MUST be different than on a PC
Podpowiedź - The difference between torrenting on a PC and NAS - Common issues, Best Practices
torrenting on NAS/server = full automation ---> just download and done
torrenting on PC === add download, where to download, create folder, monitor downloads... and other unneccessary steps

rtorrent is primary designed for those who understand the difference and wont waste a time

if you really need to create new folder each time, then add them manually

if faster you'll understand then difference, then faster you'll like the benefits (and i'm talking about all possibilites that gives you NAS)

It is not about creating new folder each time.
Just to categorize downloads into Movies / Cartoon / Series

Probably it is close to "labels" or automation but need to ready about this.
If it is just matter of putting .torrent file into appropriate watch folder or add label to this file (somehow) it is no problem.

Do you have any tutorial how to achieve this? :)

Then create labels you want and assigng them to torrents:

When downloads is complete it will move it to label directory ex.: /share/Rdownload/complete/FILM/

Thanks :)
Just side question.

Why after each rTorrent startup it set default download folder ?

I adjust it to: /share/Media/
each time and each restart it is as above

I adjust it to: /share/Media/
I have shared folder "rDownload" but do not want to use it as default one
