Hi Marius long time no speak

rtorrent is running amazing as usual after you did your little tricks to fix my rss feed

question for you my qnap is starting to run out of space. i have a QNAP TR002 which is a raid expansion so i have another data volume available which is empty so i got plenty of space there. my question to you is how do i go about redirecting all my downloads onto the raid expansion?? for example from now on everything i download i would like to download to my raid expansion. is that possible? and also how would i go about filebot sorting out the content i download? im assuming it would just hardlink the content back to datavol 1 and filebot will do its thing correct me if im wrong?

i would also like to continue seeding the current torrents if thats possible aswell

Hardlinks between two different volumes simply dont work. It will copy data instead.

The only one solution is to expand your RAID volume.

I prefer to you to reorganize your disk/volumes structures from scratch.

thanks mariuz correct me if im wrong but if i expand my raid volume i loose everything i currently have is that correct??

I recommend you to reorganize volumes structure
You cant operate on two different folders.
