Symptoms:
  • After torrent download complete there is an warning in QNAP Events logs:
filebot-available: Rtorrent-Pro reports: Filebot not found. Please install java and filebot correctly: Installing FileBot on QNAP NAS - FileBot

  • Or when opening Rtorrent-Pro settings there is red note:

Cause:
Rtorrent-Pro works fine and nothing is wrong, you may ignore this. However built-in medialibrary feature, says it might be improved very well. To achive this, you have to install Filebot which can be used as medialibrary parser.

Resolution:
There are multiple solutions and all are okay.
  1. Ignore this warning. (Not recommended)
This warning will not affect Rtorrent-Pro.

  2. Disable Media Library. (Not recommended especially if you paired your downloads with such apps like Plex, Emby, Kodi, and etc.)
To do this, open Rtorrent-Pro settings, find Media Library settings and uncheck: Automatically organize downloaded media content, click Save.

  3. (Very highly recommended) Install Filebot, buy Filebot license. Rtorrent-Pro will use filebot to rename and organize your downloads.
Install official Filebot: Installing FileBot on QNAP NAS - FileBot
Please buy Filebot License! FileBot - The ultimate TV and Movie Renamer
    Steps:

    1. Add App Repository
      Open QTS Managment Panel ►
      App Center ►
      Settings ►
      App Repository ►
      Add ►
      Name: FileBot
      and URL: https://get.filebot.net/qnap/index.xml
      Add

      • Now install Java-installer

      • Install Filebot

      • There is no need to install Filebot-node
    2. Once done, please buy Filebot License!

    3. Save license as file in Public share folder

    4. Connect to NAS using FAQ SSH and type:
      Bash:
      filebot --license /share/Public/license.txt
      to activate Filebot License.

    5. From now Rtorrent-Pro will organize your downloads using Filebot!

NOTE: Please understand, medialibrary in rtorrent is just a sample. You can achive much more using Filebot. To do that please follow guides on official filebot forum: FileBot - Forums
