Zainstalowałem dziś rTorrenta z zasobów tego forum.

rtorrent [x86]

Nie powiem - w porównaniu do np. Transmission to możliwości tego klienta są dużo większe.

No ale mam pewien problem - chodzi o stabilność.

Zapuściłem sobie torrenta z dobrego i szybkiego trackera. ruTorrent rozpędził się do 25 MB/s w ciągu kilku sekund. Myślę sobie - wow to jest to. No ale niestety w trakcie ściągania aplikacja z dwa razy się zrestartowała ( wyrzucała w logach - (warn) rtorrent: watchdog svc: rtorrent is down. Relaunching...
Co gorsza po takim restarcie za każdym razem hashowała dane co za każdym razem trochę trwało.

Czy można coś zrobić w tym temacie albo czy jest jakaś wczesniejsza wersja stabilna która nie sprawia takich problemów?

Dodam że mój serwer TS-251 ma 8 GB Ramu i raczej nie pamięć jest tu problemem.

A może są jakieś specyficzne ustawienia które można ustawić żeby apka chodziła stabilnie?

Jest niestabilny. Źle go skompilowałem. Zrób revert back do wersji 0.9.4 lub oczekuj, aż mi sie zechce go skompilować na nowo. Generalnie jest watchdog, który powinien podnosić go na nowo. Jeśli nie wystarczy to 0.9.4 polecam. Sam zauważyłem ten problem, ale napisany przeze mnie watchdog mnie rozleniwia aby popracowac nad nowym buildem.

Spróbuje dzisiaj tą wersje 0.9.4-1012.

Mam jeszcze jedno, pewno laickie, pytanie.

Co rozumiesz przez revert back? Czy to jakaś funkcjonalność App Center czy po prostu powinienem odinstalować obecną wersję i zainstalować nową?

Nowy build niestety nadal jest niestabilny (przynajmniej u mnie). Wrzuciłem dwa torrenty i Watchdog kilka razy zrestartował proces.

Dodatkowo Avalanche zwraca błąd:

Generalnie start/stop script ma bug'a w trym releasie. Także uruchamiac tylko z koonsoli ;)

Ponadto przycisk enable/debug de facto nie działa. Bo zapomniałem włączyć kilka istotnych flag podczas kompilowania ;)
Kiedyś zrobie rebuild :D
