Starting from version 0.9.x-b0099, new changes have been introduced to the user interface to improve the loading speed of interface elements, especially for mobile devices. This includes optimizing JavaScript code, as well as minifying and compressing it on the fly.

As a result, after updating Rtorrent-Pro, it is always necessary to refresh the Web UI.

In your browser:

1. Press F12 to open Developer Tools.
2. Go to the Network tab and check Disable Cache.
3. Refresh the Web UI page.

This step is required if you experience UI display issues, improper functionality, or JavaScript errors.

Od wersji 0.9.x-b0099 wprowadzono nowe zmiany w interfejsie użytkownika mające na celu przyśpieszenie wczytywania elementów interfejsu zwłaszcza dla urządzeń mobilnych (czytaj ChangeLog) tym samym optymalizując kod javascript i minifikując oraz kompresując go w locie. W tej sytuacji, po wykonaniu aktualizacji programu Rtorrent-Pro konieczne jest zawsze odświeżenie interfejsu Web. To apply the required changes, you must always manually go to the Settings section in the user interface and click the Save Settings button again. This will generate new configuration files while preserving the user's previous settings. Otherwise, the newly applied default configuration changes will not take effect in the program.

Rtorrent-Pro version 0.9.x
Although several versions of the original rTorrent are currently available, including version 0.15.1 (unstable), 0.10.0 (unstable, which includes available fixes from Rtorrent-Pro 0.9.9), and 0.9.8, Rtorrent-Pro, identified as version 0.9.x, contains all the essential fixes and improvements from versions 0.10.0 and 0.9.8—and more—making it the best release available today.

Important changes

• QPKG rebuild with new certificate
• Redesigned Advanced UI (known as ruTorrent) to make it responsive on mobile devices or vertical screens:

• Delete torrent functions is now Delete and Delete Data
• (many more minor fixes/changes...)

• Fixed typo in start/stop script

• Rtorrent doesnt log any more message: "Filebot not found. Please install java and filebot..." as warning, instead it is standard log message

• Please consider in future to use rtorrent with commercial filebot and buy its license
• Included Java once again since filebot 4.9.6 does not work with newer java
• Sessions are saved every 3 hours and just after torrent downloads

• Fixed issue when manually assigned interface has been set

This is critical update.
When updates like this is comming, please always install new version of Rtorrent and apply new settings from UI:
Click the SETTINGS button in right top corner menu:

Then click: SAVE CHANGES:

• Enabled delayed tracker announces to prevent users with +1k torrent getting annoying tracker timeouts issue at startup
• Sessions statistics like ratio or total download/upload are saved now every 3 hours instead every 20 minutes to increase SSD disks lifespan and improve overall torrent downloads
• Above features has been removed
  (Feedback from professional users: when rtorrent stops, and reset QNAP NAS all settings even labels are lost)
  In this case when somebody is using SSD disks, we recommend them to use SSD Enterprise disks instead
• Extended time needed to Rtorrent shutdown from 30seconds to 3 minutes
  (NOTE for users running more than 300 torrent tasks same time: This may increase QNAP NAS restart, until Rtorrent will drop down all sessions. This is needed to keep data safety. As mentioned above, use SSD Enterprise disks espescially when using +1k torrent jobs active)
