For the payable rtorrent-Pro you might add autodl-irssi plugin please

Its not so easy since distribution of perl is prohibitten which is needed for irssi. You must do this by yourself.

Has anyone been able to set this up?

irssi-autodl is the bomb for automating all torrent downloads.
