Network & Virtual Switch
- Both the Virtual Switch application and QTS firmware do not support downgrading.
- The system cannot slow down network speeds when using a 10GbE or 40GbE ethernet card or port trunking.

QTS
- Added the Virtual Switch function to Network Manager.
- Added the “Overview” page for Internet topology settings.

Notification
- Added Oauth 2.0 support for SMTP Gmail accounts (“Desktop” > “Options” > “E-mail Account”).

App Center
- Improved the user interface.
- Apps from third-party sources can now be imported in the App Center (“App Center” > “Settings” > “App Repository”)

Photo Station
- The aspect ratio of photo thumbnails in Photo Station can now be changed.
- Added third-party domain name support for sharing links in Photo Station.

VPN Server
- The NAS can now be set as both a PPTP and OpenVPN VPN server and client.

VPN Client
- Multiple PPTP and OpenVPN clients can now be added.

App

Ubuntu Station
- Added the ability to select volumes for app installation in the App Center.
- Added the ability to migrate Ubuntu Station to another volume in the App Center.
- TS-x53A models with at least 4GB RAM can now install Standard Ubuntu 14.04LTS in the App Center (please note that Ubuntu Station and HD Station cannot be run at the same time).

OceanKTV
- Added support for the OceanKTV beta (for TS-x53A only).

File Station
- In File Station, remote connection default settings have changed from administrator only to administration group only.
- Only administrators can permanently delete files from File Station. Files deleted by other users will be moved to the Trash.

- OpenSSL has been updated to 1.0.0t/ 1.0.1q

QTS-Misc
- Removed the DLNA Media Server option in Bonjour (“Service Discovery” > “Bonjour”).


[Note]
VPN
- The L2TP/IPsec VPN Service App does not work after upgrading to QTS 4.2.1 and has been temporarily removed from the App Center.

Media Streaming Add-on
- When updating to QTS 4.2.1, the Media Streaming Add-on must be updated to version 421.0.1.0 (or newer).

Container Station
- Please be reminded that if you are using Container Station v1.2 or earlier versions, please upgrade QTS to v4.2.1 AFTER Container Station v1.3 becomes available and install this version first.

- When adding/removing port trunking groups the system log will report that the DHCP server is disabled.


[Bug Fixes]
QTS
- Fixed an issue where the NAS would not accept a domain group's name if it contains special characters.
- Fixed an issue where email notifications would be disabled when using 2-step verification if there is no username & password set in the SMTP server.
- Fixed an issue where testing a RTRR job would fail when creating a job to backup files from local to remote via CIFS.
- Fixed an issue where the profile folder would have two IDs with the access right of 3000001 after the domain users setup profiles.
- Fixed an issue where after detaching a JBOD, its image in Storage Manager will remain in chassis view.
- Fixed an issue where after installing CloudLink and rebooting the NAS, the System Event Logs will display a "..file system is not clean.." message.
- Fixed an issue where the progress would be stuck at "0" when relaunching Storage Manager and entering "Storage Space" page when using Internet Explorer 11.
- Fixed an issue where after enabling advanced folder permissions in the Control Panel, File Station would show an error message in the right-panel Permission tab.
- Fixed an issue where File Station would show an error message when sharing files with more than one person and sending an email link via the NAS.
- If Windows ACL is enabled in the Closed Beta version, snapshots will not be displayed under "Properties" > "Previous Versions".

Virtualization Station 2.1 Beta
- The button "Processing immediately after Apply" does not work after creating a restore job with instant bootup.
- The error message when accessing Virtualization Station from an iPad 4.
- Upgrading Virtualization Station will not modify the SSL certification.
- Allows logging into Virtualization Station when "Force secure connection (HTTPs) only" is enabled in General Settings.
- There is no VM backup timestamp for restoring remote backup jobs by clicking the "Restore" button.

Prośba o sprawdzienie u posiadaczy więcej niż jednej/dwóch kart czy działa wam to nowe cudo

U mnie co bym dziadowi nie wpisał np w Adapterze 6 (IP,VLAN, DHCP) to po kliknięciu zapisz nie robi tego :/
Dopiero za którymś razem przyjmuje moje wprowadzone wartości.

Jest mała wojna w QNAP'ie o to. Tego miało nigdy nie być. Zresztą jestem tego samego zdania. SynoLockera nam nie trzeba.

Też wydaje mi się, że to nie potrzebne. Ręczna możliwość doinstalowania pakietów jest wystarczająca, a tu trochę zaczyna być takie 1001 drobiazgów.

I jeśli to rozwiązanie dobre nic nie stoi na przeszkodzie aby się postarać o dodanie go do oficjalnego repo QNAP lub zawsze możesz zainstalować paczkę ręcznie.

Nie musimy dodawać repozytorium, których nie znamy.

Wybacz ale sama myśl jest mega abstrakcyjna. Nie wiem jak mógłbyś obronić tą teorię. Chyba że znamy to znaczy znam jego url.

QTS nie jest otwartym oprogramowaniem, a to w takich rozwiązaniach daje się takie możliwości. Otwierając taką furtkę prowokujemy do tego aby instalować na sprzęcie kupę nieznanego badziewia. Działa to prosto. Potrzebujemy czegoś więc instalujemy repo bo tak najprościej. Przeglądamy repo i widzimy kilka interesujących rozwiązań no to sprawdzamy. Z każdą kolejną próbą wykładniczo podnosimy poziom możliwego syfu w systemie i nie łudźcie się, że jakikolwiek operator repo jest w stanie kontrolować w pełni to co się w nim znajduje. Oficjalne repo charakteryzuje się tym, że choć producent nie odpowiada za działanie aplikacji to niejako potwierdza jej prawidłowe działanie w systemie bez uszczerbku dla jego samego.

Konkludując osobom poszukującym dobrego i stabilnego rozwiązania dodatkowe repo są kompletnie zbędne. W innych przypadkach często kończy się to lamentami na system, że taki niestabilny, że się wiesza, restartuje, ma problemy z bezpieczeństwem etc.... W dobrym rozwiązaniu ograniczanie badziewiactwa i cepelli do minimum jest bardzo pożądaną i właściwą polityką.

Do repozytorium są wrzucane paczki i to ty decydujesz, którą zainstalujesz.
Same posiadanie repo nie spowoduje, że Ci system rozwali.

Mam swoje repozytorium na S i ludzie z niego korzystają jak również ja też skorzystam z innych.
Najważniejsze jest to by instalować zaufane pakiety.
Na qnapa też można skompilować paczkę, która Ci system wysadzi.

Cóż, jak można przeczytać w tym co napisałem, jest to zasygnalizowanie pewnego ogólnego mechanizmu, który niestety tak a nie inaczej działa. Nie zawężam tematu do wąskiej grupy osób rozsądnych i mających instynkt samozachowawczy ale staram się spojrzeć na temat globalnie. Tu na forum być może masz racje, ale w szerokim kontekście nie da się tej teorii obronić.

Najważniejsze jest to by instalować zaufane pakiety.

A skąd wiadomo że paczka Alego z Hondurasu jest bezpieczna ? To dość naciągane i trochę jak rosyjska ruletka.

Na qnapa też można skompilować paczkę, która Ci system wysadzi.
