Discussion QNAP TS-259 PRO - rtorrent-Pro?

[MM1973]

Hello,

since I'm not sure, I prefer to ask in advance.

Can you install rtorrent-Pro on a QNAP TS-259 PRO?

Many thanks.

Best regards,

What firmware is there?
Is this x64 NAS?

[MM1973]

Thank you for the feedback.

I found the following for this NAS:

CPU Intel® Atom™ Dual-core Processor
DRAM 1GB DDRII RAM
Flash Memory 512MB DOM
HDD 2 x 2.5"/3.5" SATA
NOTE:
The system is shipped without HDD.

QTS
4.2.6 build 20210327 2021-04-01

I hope it helps you?

compatibility wise - it will run
but it will not be good experience , get better NAS - this one is old and slow.

Thank you for your reply.

Can you recommend a Qnap NAS to me?

I only need it as a data grave.
Almost forgot, it should be suitable for 1 or 2 hard drives.

TS-253D and get 8 GBs of RAM for it - will fly very nice!

Okay thanks.

I'll take a look at your suggestions.
