Hi Silas,

Love your work.

Today, I saw your major update for rtorrent_0.9.7-A624_x86_64.qpkg and bit the bullet and updated from rtorrent_0.9.6-0303-180303_x86_64.

I had over 100 torrents uploading and after upgrading I now only have 1 torrent on the list, bummer if the rest can't be recovered for seeding but there seems to be a bigger issue where I can't actually use the app as log keeps giving errors (uploaded to attached files).

Please assist, and advise how to fix.

Thanks!

Firmware version: 4.4.2.1320 Build 2020529
Model name: QNAP TVS-672XT

I realised I also had rtorrent_0.9.7-A212_x86_64.qpkg I was meaning to install earlier this year but never got round to it, and installed this over the latest version rtorrent_0.9.7-A624_x86_64.qpkg and everything seems to be working fine again! Should I stay with this older version, or ist here a fix for the latest version? thanks!
All seems good except this error in the log which keeps coming up, doesn't seem to affect functionality:

How do I fix this? network card should easily be able to ping google host?

Thanks!

This is not an error. Rtorrent its just probing interfaces and looking for internet connection. However this bug means your main eth0 port has no access to the internet. Please fix that.

I have exactly the same problem as the partner. And I don't have any problem neither of ports, nor in my internet connection. I have to say that it only happens to me on the rtorrent webui. In Floud that problem does not appear to me.

The only solution I have found is to go back to the previous version and fixed.

I don't doubt it, but I've installed it twice and it doesn't work for me, and it only happens to me in the rtorrent interface. In the Floud interface, it doesn't happen to me. I have done a thousand tests and have not achieved anything. I have had to install the previous version and everything works normally again

The error is inconsequential, as eth0 port works fine, and has access to the internet, torrents are donwloading fine, it's just the error message - so no worries!

Silas any comment on this error, as it's actually stopping me from upgrading to rtorrent_0.9.7-A624_x86_64 and I've had to roll back to the earlier rtorrent_0.9.6-0303-180303_x86_64 version for me to actually get a working rtorrent qnap client.

Dear Silas,

I also have the same problem. Only Flood is working. The versions 0.9.7-A624 and 0.9.7-A702 don't work for me. Can you please send me a link to download a previous version? I had +700 torrents uploading and now just 1. Please see attached print screen.
Thank you very much

Hi Silas,

I've finally come round to updating to the latest rtorrent client by deleting my old version and installing the latest 0.9.8 version, but upon logging into the Advanced UI I think the UI/UX is messed up, can you please advise how to fix this:
