5. Use Putty, download if needed, to ssh to the QNAP and use the MAC address password still.

8. run the following command "storage_util –sys_startup_p2"
9. go to the effected volume and remove approximately 500GB of data or some amount files to free space. (this will vary greatly 32GB is the lock down amount but we need to free up more than enough space for any corrupt file issues or space taken by application or files not seen yet.)
10. example of removing files.
a. run "cd /share/CACHEDEV1_DATA/Storage/
b. run "rm -rf filename.xxx" (do this for enough files to clear 500GB or whatever you would like to try.)
c. run "cd /share/CACHEDEV1_DATA/Storage/@Recycle/"
d. rum "rm -rf filename.xxx" (do this for all files in the @Recycle bin.)
11. run “/etc/init.d/services.sh stop”
12. run “umount /dev/mapper/cachedev1” (this may be a different directory for you look at the mount that was read only "ro" in the mount command.)
13. run “e2fsck -c -f -v -p /dev/mapper/cachedev1” (resolve any errors or issue that may show up here, this may require further procedures not covered here.)
14. run "reboot"
