Rtorrent 16 Telegram 0.1.0-10

An unofficial add-on that uses the Telegram API to run your own Telegram bot for Rtorrent 16. Telegram did not make it and does not endorse it.

You create the bot in Telegram with @BotFather, enter its token and your own api_id and api_hash on the Telegram page of the Rtorrent 16 panel, then pair your Telegram account with a one-time code. The bot takes orders only from paired accounts.

Send it a magnet link or a .torrent file and Rtorrent 16 downloads it. Send it any other file and the bot saves it to Download/telegram (else Public/telegram). A t.me link to a message with a file gets a Save to NAS button. Other links need the Gopeed add-on. The bot answers commands such as /status, /list and /search, and Rtorrent 16 can send its notifications through it. When the panel has a public HTTPS address, the bot's Play button opens a player inside Telegram.

It needs Rtorrent 16 16.24-05S or newer. On an older Rtorrent 16 the install stops and says so.
