UPDATE - version 3.02 QPKG available
Decided to update this wonderful QPKG to to the latest version, just to make it easier for everyone
.
If you already installed "manually" the 3.0.1 version there is no need to install this, as it will bring nothing new to the table.
You will need to create the MySql db after the QPKG is installed and enter the appropriate information in the Gallery setup wizard fields.
The QPKG contains all the themes and modules that I found on the Gallery website, just to make things easier.
This will work without any issues with the latest fw model 3.4.2 because php has been compiled with support for iconv, json .... etc. There is no need to install imagemagick, because it will use GD by default.
Update instructions
In order to update to the 3.02 version, download the 3.02 QPKG from below and install it. After the install process is done open a new tab in your browser and navigate to http://NAS_IP/gallery3/index.php/upgrader and follow the instructions there. MAKE YOU DO THIS IN ORDER TO COMPLETE THE INSTALL.
Have a look over here to see what problems other users reported after they upgraded to the 3.02 version and see how the upgrade will affect you.
For all other users that are installing this for the first time, just install and use it ....
