Dyskusja Can't delete torrent : "XMLRPC Error: Duplicate filename found. [removewithdata]" or " XMLRPC Error: Duplicate filename found. [getsavepath]"

I need some help. There is torrent file I'd like to delete (cause it does not download - it is always marked as stopped). In ruTorrent I get the messages above.

Fist was "XMLRPC Error: Duplicate filename found. [removewithdata]": But I did't find any files or directories. So i checked in flood. There was a directory given (../downloads/[TorrenFileDir]/). This I created a directory named TorrenFileDir].
After trying to delete this (torrent+data) I got "XMLRPC Error: Duplicate filename found. [getsavepath]".
So if anyone knows what to do I would appreciate it...

Hi

Can you confirm this issue happens on other browser too?
Have you tried to disable cache and refresh Website? (Hit F12, open browsers Developer Tools, find Network tab, click Disable cache and F5/Refresh on UI)

Does it help? Are you able to delete torrent now?

If not, do you use Total Commander or any other file manager with file search?
Follow steps bellow:
1) Stop Rtorrent-Pro from App Center
2) Go to Download/rtorrent/session or Rdownload/session (depends on your configuration)
3) Search * (all) files for text: TorrentName

Once found, eg. Acrobat:

4) Delete those two files.
5) Start Rtorrent-Pro again.

If does not help we have to arrange teamviewer appointment.

OK.. Worked

I just found one file "xxx.torrent" and deleted it. Now its gone...
