Symptoms:
  • When installing or upgrading rtorrent get warning from QTS:
(warn) rtorrent: Default username and password rtorrent:admin has been set for user interface. For safety, please change default login credentials.

    or ...

  • (warn) rtorrent: There is no account set for FloodUI. For safety, please go to FloodUI and setup new login credentials.

Default credentials:
Default user name: rtorrent
Default password: admin

Cause
This is safety reminder for user to change both user name and password in rtorrent UI settings and also in alternative Flood UI to keep his server secure from default access credentials.

Note:
When upgrading rtorrent-Pro both user name and password settings are restored each time. [TODO] For that moment there is no way to keep your user name and password.

Resolution:
  1. Go to rtorrent SETTINGS (http://nas_ip:6009/setup/#credentials)and then click on the Credentials button on the bottom of the page and set new login name and password.

  2. Go to FloodUI (http://nas_ip:3000/) and define new user name and password.
