Załadowałem (od zera) i ... Praktycznie nie da się instalować aplikacji AppCentre, (przyklady PKG, QloudLink, VideoStation). Każda instalacja kończy się komunikatem o błędzie. Próbowałem znaleźć logi ale chyba ich po prostu nie ma. Ostatecznie skończyło się na rejestracji zgłoszenia na QNAP helpdesk. Czekam na odpowiedż.

Thank you for the hint!

The issue was that the folder /share/CE_CACHEDEV1_DATA didn't exist at all.
When I was restarting services I got a message "Default volume not found" twice.
So (after quick investigation) I found out that qpkg services were not started properly (/etc/rcS.d/QS102DownloadStation in my case).

My solution was to delete and create the volume again (luckily there were no sensitive data yet).
/share/CE_CACHEDEV1_DATA folder was created this time and all work perfectly now.

As I am absolutely sure I didn't delete the folder by myself (and it was very fresh installation of the newest firmware + system reinitialization) it seems there is a defect in volume creation script (in some circumstances /share/CE_CACHEDEV1_DATA is not created).

If I may help in any further investigation of the defect, please do not hesitate to ask.

OK. I advice you clean /etc/config/qpkg.conf this file. (default setting file at "/etc/default_config/qpkg.conf")

and delete all QPKG at /share/CACHEDEV1_DATA/.qpkg/

then restart service:

It's become more complex status. if you didn't have too many data in NAS. I advice you to create a whole new NAS system.

your problem like some volume is gone ..... and you are using WD RED and enable HDD standby mode ??

We find out some user report TS-X51 with WD RED HDDs andstandby mode will make this HDD drop out and volume happen some issue. disable HDD standby mode can help this. can help double chekc this?

I was executing a few tests during last night.
And it is shame on me, probably all that is my mistake (lack of knowledge).

First of all I re-initiated my NAS and restarted it.
And then I realized the problem was there again (without any other installations, the limit of 30min to go into standby mode was not reached).

It was very first time I did the re-initialization with volume encryption enabled during the process (I try it before but after the re-initialization and startup).
And then I found in the manual that normally the encrypted volume is not to be mounted during the restart if encryption key is not saved on NAS!!

When finally I saved the encryption key on NAS, it started to work properly.

So the only suggestion I can have is to change installation/volume format process a little. If default volume is to be encrypted there should be a warning - some services will be not started properly if encryption key is not stored on the NAS.

I turned the standby option off anyway, following your advise.
